3. Sedimentation : Continuous thickeners.

1. Storage and handling of solids, transportation
Mixing, Mixers, agitation, types of equipments.

1. Filtration : Theory, operation, types, Flotation agents,
flotation cells.
2. Filter Calculations, filtration equation for compressible and
non- compressible cakes, specific cake resistance.
